The Central Valley Cancer Foundation (CVCF) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting individuals facing a cancer diagnosis in California’s Central Valley. We understand that a cancer diagnosis brings unexpected financial challenges, which is why we provide grants specifically designed to help cover non-medical expenses.
Through our care, education, and wellness resources, our goal is to alleviate your financial burdens so you can focus entirely on your treatment, healing, and recovery.
Eligibility & Guidelines
To be considered for financial support, applicants must meet the following criteria and complete the application process in its entirety:

Location: Must be a resident of California's Central Valley.

Diagnosis: Must have a verified cancer diagnosis and be undergoing active treatment.

Purpose: Grants are strictly awarded to assist with non-medical household expenses.
Application Requirements
To process your request efficiently, you will need to provide the following information within 30 days of submitting your application:

Medical Details: The name of your cancer care facility and your treating physician.

Facility Contact: The name and title of the healthcare professional (e.g., social worker, navigator) assisting you at the facility.

Financial Documentation: A completed household income and expense sheet, including all sources of monthly income (such as household wages, Social Security, disability, or other agency assistance) and current housing costs.
Please Note: All information provided must be accurate, complete, and verifiable. Providing false information will result in an immediate denial or reversal of financial assistance. By submitting, you authorize CVCF to verify eligibility and review household credit history if necessary.
